Help Keep Minis on the Road!!

There is currently a petition running to make Road Tax free for all classic vehicles over 25 years old.  At the moment as many of you know only pre-1973 vehicles are tax exempt.  This petition would make this a rolling 25-year cycle which would help keep more classic vehicles - Minis included - on the road.

AMC Members' Christmas Meal

The Coach and Horses Pub, Melton

This years' AMC Members' meal is being held at the Coach and Horses in Melton, at 6:45pm.  If you would like to go the cost is £19.95 per person for a 3-course meal.

The meal is strictly members only.  If you would like to attend please let Caz or Gina know ASAP.  Payment and menu choices are required by the 26th October 2011 and cash or cheques are accepted.  If you are paying by cheque please make it payable to "Anglian Mini Club".

Rare Breeds Motor Show

Monday, 29th August

Lavenham, Suffolk

We have 8 Minis booked for the club stand at this show.  Those attending need to meet in the car park behind "The Cock" public house in Lavenham at 9:45am (to leave at 10:15am) in order to receive your passes.

Gaydon Mini Festival

Sunday 3rd July

Heritage Motor Museum, Gaydon

We have booked a club stand at this event and still have some spaces!!  If you are interested in displaying your Mini and would like a FREE TICKET (which includes entry to the Heritage Motor Museum) please contact Caz before Wednesday 22nd June to book a place (places will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis so get in quick!).  More info about the show can be found at www.minifestival.co.uk.

AMC Picnic and Boating on Thorpeness Mere

Sunday 26th June

Club members and their families are welcome to join us for a day out at the sea side.  Bring your own picnic lunch and chair/blanket.  Meeting from 10am at Tesco Extra, Martlesham Heath to leave at 10:30am, to travel to Thorpeness.  Boating on the Mere will cost around £5 per person (based on 4 sharing a rowing boat for 2hrs).  If you would like to come along please contact Manda, or just turn up.
