Shaun lives in Stowmarket (but he will make sure you are aware that he was born in Cornwall!) and joined the AMC back in 1994 after buying ‘Pippa’ his Rover Mini 35. He became club chairman in 1997 “and still can’t give the job away!”.

Shaun’s favourite events are the annual International Mini Meetings, he has been to every one since 1996 and says it’s a great place to meet Mini fanatics from all over the world.

Shaun’s Mini 35 underwent extensive restoration in 2005 during which it had a change of paintwork, from its original ‘pink’, to a very eye catching red and black marble effect.

Milly, along with her husband Matt, is from Bury St. Edmunds and joined the AMC in 2002. With her accountancy experience she was welcomed onto the committee as Treasurer in 2004.

Milly’s favourite event is Castle Combe track day because it always falls on her birthday weekend which means she is ensured a weekend away!

Milly & Matt own a 1999 Mini Cooper Sport, which is painted in a very recognisable orange flip paint job. They can also be seen in Matt’s BMW MINI Cooper.

Gina is from Woodbridge and joined the AMC in 1999 with her 1981 Mini City, painstakingly restored by her dad as her first car. She originally joined the AMC committee in 2002 as Magazine Editor, and after a few years' break returned in 2008 as our Membership Secretary.

Gina’s favourite events are the Mini anniversary celebrations (especially Mini 40 at Silverstone) and the International Mini Meetings.

Gina purchased her current Mini, a 1998 Mini Cooper Sport in 2000, which she now preserves as a summer car to try and delay the effects of time!


Matt Smith - Technical Advisor

Matt is from Ipswich and joined the AMC in 2001 with his 1990 Mini City. He became the club's Technical Advisor in 2008.

Matt’s favourite events are Mini in the Park at Santa Pod and Castle Combe track day as he enjoys the racing.

Matt has owned Mini’s for over 10 years. His current Mini, a 1994 Mini Cooper, underwent extensive bodywork in 2007 but he has kept the style almost original.

Caz has been a member of the AMC since 1999, and has been on the committee since 2001 as Membership Secretary for several years and more recently as the Club Secretary.

Caz’s favourite events are International Mini Meetings, and anything local that her Mini can make it to!

Caz has owned ‘Rosie’, her 1966 Austin Mini Deluxe since 1999, it was extensively restored in 2001 and is now rarely seen out in bad weather!

Manda, along with her husband Daniel, joined the AMC in 2002 with their pair of Mini Cooper Sports'. Manda was soon enlisted on to the committee as Regalia Co-ordinator at her first AGM and has been on the committee ever since.

Manda’s favourite events are the International Mini Meetings, Castle Combe Track Day and the AMC Christmas Parties, which she and Club Secretary Caz organise every year.

Manda drives a 2000 Mini Cooper Sport, which she and Dan have big plans for modifications in the future.
